Imam An-Nawawi explained the by saying that strength means the determination of the soul and the quick wit in matters of the Hereafter. Thus, the strong person is more courageous in jihad, quicker to set out to pursue the enemy, more resolute in enjoining good and forbidding evil, more patient in enduring harm, more tolerant of hardships in the path of Allah, and more desirous of acts of worship and more active in seeking them and preserving them. The Prophet’s saying, peace and blessings be upon him, "and in each there is good," means that good is present in both the strong and the weak, due to their shared faith.
