The answer

Al-Zuhri's narration was weakened by Al-Albani in "Al-Da'ifah" (The Weak) and "Mukhtasar al-Bukhari" (Abridgement of Al-Bukhari). Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan and Imam Al-Shafi'i criticized his mursal narrations. What indicates the weakness of Al-Zuhri's aforementioned narration is its mention of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, contemplating throwing himself from a high place, which is impermissible. Al-Albani stated that this is weak in its chain of narration and denounced in its text.
