The answer

When a woman experiences purity, (ritual bath) becomes obligatory upon her. If bleeding recurs within a period that can be considered menstruation, she is again considered a menstruating woman and must refrain from fasting and prayer until the bleeding stops, whereupon she performs ghusl. It is a condition that the duration of the first bleeding, the recurrent bleeding, and the period of purity in between them does not exceed fifteen days.
