Do the aforementioned divorces result in a minor or major irrevocable divorce?

Most scholars are of the view that divorce occurring during menstruation and postpartum bleeding is valid—even if it is an innovated, forbidden act—and that uttering the triple divorce counts as three divorces. This is the prevailing fatwa (definition). However, Ibn Taymiyyah held that uttering the triple divorce counts as a single divorce, and that divorce during menstruation and postpartum bleeding is not effective. Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless it completely deprives the person of their awareness. Since the matter has been referred to the Sharia (definition) court, its ruling is what counts, because a judge's ruling resolves disagreement.
