Reciting the Quran is a great act of worship for which a Muslim is rewarded with ten good deeds for every letter, and the reward is multiplied in Ramadan (definition). Reciting the Quran at home after prayers, whether by night or day, is rewarded. However, a complete recitation (khatmah) is only achieved by reading the entire Quran. Completing the Quran in Tarawih prayers is commendable but not obligatory. It is recommended to persevere in recitation due to the abundant good it contains.
