Is it permissible for a female court employee to bring clients to a lawyer in exchange for money?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
It is not permissible to accept an offer to direct clients to a lawyer, because either it is part of the work within the court, in which case it is not permissible to take a fee for it, or it is not part of it, in which case engaging in it would be a waste of the work for which the employee receives a salary. The employee is a private employee whose benefits during official working hours are owned by his employer, so he is not permitted to work for his own benefit or that of others during working hours.
