Is it permissible for an employee, whose company's commercial insurance covers his eyeglasses for 250 Riyals, to request an invoice for 250 Riyals, even though the cost of his eyeglasses is 150 Riyals, in order to take the difference, knowing that he previously paid for medications not covered by the insurance?

Commercial insurance of all types is a forbidden contract due to its inclusion of gharar (definition) (excessive uncertainty) and qimar (gambling). Health insurance is likewise forbidden. A person is not permitted to benefit from it except to the extent of the premiums they paid or that their employer paid on their behalf.
