Is it permissible for the treasurer of a charitable association under establishment to temporarily store his personal belongings in the empty and unused premises of the association without charge, with the approval of the board of directors?
Source: FtawySummary from Ftawy's records · added here Sep 2, 2026
The person in charge must not dispose of the association's property except as explicitly or customarily authorized. Otherwise, it would be considered a betrayal of trust, and betrayal is a characteristic of hypocrites. If storing personal items at the workplace is authorized and does not harm the association, then there is no objection to it.
