The answer

The employer must pay employees' salaries without reduction or delay. If the delay in salaries is due to the company's inability to provide cash, then it is excused, as Allah Almighty says: "And if there is one in adversity, then [let there be] a postponement until [a time of] ease." However, if the company owner is procrastinating, then he is an oppressor, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Procrastination by a rich person is injustice."

As for the employee, if the company owners are procrastinating, there are several solutions, including: advising the employer, being patient, taking the matter to court or the labor department, resigning and looking for another job, and supplicating.
