If the entitlements of a resigned employee are wages for work performed, and he has not violated the terms of the contract, then his employer is not permitted to withhold them, and he has the right to claim them. If he owes a debt to the company, he can offset it. However, if he leaves the work before the end of the agreed-upon period without a valid reason, some scholars are of the opinion that he is not entitled to anything for what he has done. The employee should repay his debts to the company, and he can refer the matter to the judiciary to resolve the dispute.
