The salary received unlawfully must be returned to the entity from which it was taken. What was paid to government hospitals is sufficient because it goes back to the state budget. However, what was paid to charities is not sufficient unless it is highly probable that the employer will not use the money for a legitimate purpose; in that case, it should be spent on public interests.
