What is the ruling on money that exceeds the original ticket price, and is donating it considered sufficient to clear one's conscience?

You must return the amount to the employer unless they absolve you of it, in which case the reward for your charity will be yours. You are not obligated to pay anything to your friend who paid the hundred, as you did not authorize him.
