The question

Is it permissible for a female doctor to open a clinic using her degree and her partner's money, while employing other doctors, and what is the ruling on the agreed-upon salary and the clinic registered in her name? And does signing contracts with insurance companies—if they are unlawful—make her sinful, and is she accountable for the amounts she previously received if she stops dealing with them?

The answer

If the questioner is practicing at a clinic licensed in her name, then the salary is in exchange for her work. Commercial insurance is forbidden in all its forms, and it is not permissible to subscribe to it or assist with it. The signing of this contract by the licensee is forbidden. She must repent and invalidate the contract if possible. As for the money taken from the insurance, the insured is not entitled to anything from it except what he paid in premiums. Any surplus must be given as charity for good causes.
