What is the ruling on following news about Korean artists only, without listening to or following their works?

Part of complete repentance is to cut off from the news of those who spread vice, for Allah, the Almighty, says: "O you who have believed, fear Allah. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.
