Is it permissible for employees of the governmental Zakat Fund, whose salaries are paid by the state, to take from the "those who work thereon" category (of Zakat recipients) in addition to their salaries, knowing that their monthly salaries are allocated for their work in Zakat?

It is not permissible for employees in the Zakat (definition) Fund who receive salaries from the state to take from zakat under the category of "those employed to collect and distribute it," because they receive their livelihoods from the public treasury. They are only permitted to take from zakat if they are poor or needy, in addition to their salaries.
