Which is better: feeding one poor person every day in Ramadan, or distributing food to thirty poor people on the twenty-seventh day of the month?

There is no religious proof for allocating a specific charity to Ramadan (definition) other than the obligatory Zakat (definition) al-Fitr. What is required during Ramadan is an increase in spending on good deeds and acquiring generosity, in emulation of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who was the most generous of people, and was even more generous in Ramadan. Encouragement has been given to spend and give charity during it, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have the same reward as him, without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person." Spending in this month is not limited to a specific time or amount. The more a Muslim spends, the greater his reward and recompense, especially if the recipient of the charity is in dire need.
