Is it permissible for a husband to abandon his wife and stop speaking to her simply because she refused to sell a piece of her gold to give him money, knowing that she had previously given him a large sum from her own money?

If a husband abandons his wife because she did not donate money to him or lend him money, he is unjust and abusive, because that is not obligatory upon her, and his abandonment of her for this reason is not permissible. He must fear Allah and treat her kindly. The wife must be patient, understanding, and offer gentle advice.
