The answer

becomes obligatory on wealth if it reaches the (the equivalent of 85 grams of gold) and a full year has passed on it. It must be disbursed immediately upon the completion of the year. Zakat is obligatory on deposits in an Islamic bank if they reach the nisab, either by themselves or when combined with other funds or trade goods, and a full year has passed on them. As for a car, there is no zakat on it unless it is for trade, in which case it is subject to zakat on trade goods at a rate of 2.5% of its value.
