Divine Decree
- Why did Allah create us in this world—which contains both injustice and justice—and test us? And why do we suffer and are tormented or blessed? What is the purpose of that, and why were we not given a choice in our creation?
- Why might the children of some righteous, diligent parents be uncommitted, while the children of some negligent parents be committed and steadfast in prayer? And is this a tribulation that requires patience?
- Is this a divine decree and wisdom from Allah, or a shortcoming on the part of the questioner, or a punishment for sins, or a selection by Allah of His servants, along with his feeling of not offering anything to humanity and the Ummah, and his inability to work alone due to the absence of a unified will, material resources, and religious knowledge?
- What is the difference between divine decree (qadar) and religious obligation (taklif), and how can they be distinguished?
- What are the fundamentals of Islam agreed upon by the Companions, the Tabi'un, and the scholars of the virtuous generations?
- Is man given free will or is he predetermined?
- Is the money that a divorced wife took from her first husband, according to the law of the foreign country, considered illicit wealth that must be returned, or is it her right Islamically? And if she must return it, what should she do when the money has been spent? And are the problems she is currently experiencing due to the sin of her first husband, and how can she repent and please Allah?
- What are the benefits of believing in divine decree and destiny?
- Have I become a disrespectful lady and an unfit mother after talking to a stranger? And is what happened considered zina (adultery/fornication)? And have I become a treacherous wife? And does this necessitate seeking a divorce? And has my Hajj become void? And what is the expiation for this conversation? And is it destiny or a trial? And has the reward for patience and seeking recompense from Allah been lost?

- What is the meaning of Allah's leading a servant astray, and what are its forms? Does it mean facilitating disobedience for him or urging him to it? Is it correct to say that Allah made someone disobey Him or facilitated disobedience for him?

- How can the execution of the hadd punishment for adultery on the married adulterer, by stoning to death, be reconciled with the mercy and justice of Allah, while the hadd punishment might not be carried out on another adulterer, thus allowing him an opportunity for repentance?
- Are all human actions and lives predetermined by God before their birth, or do they have freedom of choice and action?
- Is a calamity or tribulation resulting from a person's decision and choice, whether wise or not, considered part of the divine decree (Qadaa' and Qadar) that Allah has ordained for the servant, so that one may say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return," and does it fall under the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "And know that what missed you was not to hit you, and what hit you was not to miss you"? Or is it rather due to the servant's action and ignorance, and thus not considered part of the divine decree, and therefore they are not entitled to say "Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" or to use verses and hadiths about tribulation as evidence?

- How can Allah's beautifying the actions of those who do not believe in the Hereafter for them, and His sending devils upon the disbelievers, not contradict His prohibition of indecency, even though this may lead to persistence in sin?
- Is the Hajj considered valid for someone who suffers from obsessive-compulsive whispers that include insulting the Divine Being, the Messenger, and the creed, especially if these whispers overcome the person in the Mashar of Arafat, and is he considered sinful for that?
- Does the believer regret the misfortunes and what he missed out on in this world, and is the Muslim's regret limited to neglecting obedience and committing sins?
- Does the saying, "Oh, if only you had played, my destiny," imply a negative presumption about God and liken His divine decree and destiny to a game of chance based on randomness?
- What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Whoever harms, Allah will harm him; and whoever causes hardship, Allah will cause hardship for him," and why do we see people harming and causing hardship to others, yet Allah does not cause hardship for them?
