Whoever uses the lawful incantations () will be protected by Allah from the evil of sorcerers and others. One should recite upon oneself Ayatul-Kursi, Al-Fatihah, the verses of magic, "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" ( Al-), and the two Mu'awwidhat (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas). A righteous reciter can also recite these verses into water for the sick person to drink and bathe with, or blow upon them with these verses for Allah to heal them.
