Has there been writing and classification on the topic of interpreting sacred texts, and has that affected the Muslim community today, especially given the presence of those who see no objection to not condemning interpreters as part of an effort to bring about reform and educate Muslims?

Many works in Usul (principles of Islamic jurisprudence), Aqidah (creed), and Tafsir (definition) (exegesis) have addressed ta'wil (figurative interpretation) and its categories (sound and corrupt), including the Tafsirs of Al-Tabari, Ibn Kathir, and Al-Sa'di, Adwa' Al-Bayan by Al-Shinqiti, commentaries on Jam' Al-Jawami' and Maraqi Al-Sa'ud, Al-Ibanah by Al-Ash'ari, Sharh Al-Tahawiyyah, commentaries on Al-Wasitiyyah, Al-Sawa'iq Al-Mursalah by Ibn Al-Qayyim, Ibtal Al-Ta'wilat by Abu Ya'la, the book "Al-Ta'wil: Khuturatuhu wa Atharuhu" (Figurative Interpretation: Its Danger and Effects) by Al-Ashqar, and "Dhamm Al-Ta'wil" (Condemnation of Figurative Interpretation) by Ibn Qudamah.

Among the negative consequences of bid'ah (innovated) ta'wil is what the mu'awwilah (those who practice ta'wil) have fallen into regarding the interpretation of Allah's attributes.

As for prioritizing, clarifying the truth and the sound creed in interpreting the texts of the two revelations (Qur'an and Sunnah (definition)) is among the priorities of Islamic work, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) hadith (definition) to Mu'adh in Yemen: "Let the first thing you invite them to be the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah," and in another narration: "that they unify Allah." The rectification of the Ummah (Muslim nation) is achieved through faith, certainty, and sound creed, as stated in the hadith: "The rectification of the first of this Ummah was through asceticism and certainty." Imam Malik said: "The last of this Ummah will not be rectified except by that which rectified its first."
