Is naming a male child "Abu Bakr" appropriate, knowing that the word "Abu" means "father," and did the great companion have other names besides "Abu Bakr" and "Al-Siddiq"?

The name of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, is Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Amr Al-Qurashi, and his kunya (agnomen) is Abu Bakr. A kunya is what begins with "Abu" (father of) or "Umm" (mother of), and it may be attributed to something specific to the person, such as "Abu Hurairah" (father of a kitten) and "Abu Turab" (father of dust). It is permissible to give a newborn the kunya "Abu Bakr" as a form of title. It is known that Abu Bakr's name is Abdullah, while "Ateeq" (the freed one) is a description of him and not a name. Among his children were Abdullah, Abdur-Rahman, and Muhammad, and Aisha, Asma, and Umm Kulthum. It is recommended to name a son "Abdullah" and give him the kunya "Abu Bakr" in imitation of the Sunnah (definition).
