Is the aqeeqah for a newborn on the eleventh day, due to his illness in the hospital, sufficient, or must it be repeated, knowing that it should be on the seventh or fourteenth day?

The Sunnah (definition) is to slaughter the Aqiqah (definition) on the seventh day of the newborn's life. If that is not possible, then on the fourteenth, or else on the twenty-first, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The Aqiqah is slaughtered on the seventh, or on the fourteenth, or on the twenty-first." If one is unable to do so at these times due to financial hardship, he may perform the Aqiqah later when his situation becomes easier, and he is not required to repeat the slaughter.
