Is it permissible to hang a framed picture containing the word "Allah" and another containing the word "Muhammad" at the same height, or if not, what should be the height of the frame with "Allah" compared to the frame with "Muhammad" on the same wall, in the same room, and in the same house? And how should one deal with a single frame on which "Allah" and "Muhammad" are written on one line?

If Allah is mentioned, the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, is mentioned with Him in many instances, such as embracing Islam, the adhan (definition) (call to prayer), and the tashahhud (definition) (testimony of faith). This is the meaning of His, the Almighty's, saying: (And We raised high for you your ذکر [fame]).

This does not mean that the Messenger is a partner with Allah; rather, he is His servant and His Messenger.

It is permissible to hang one plaque containing the name of Allah and the name of His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, on the same level, or to hang two plaques on the same level, as long as this is not accompanied by a corrupt belief in equality or partnership.

It is better for the name of Allah to be at the top and the name of the Messenger below it. It is also better not to limit it to the words "Allah" and "Muhammad," but to add something from the tashahhud, or praise, or salutations upon him, peace and blessings be upon him.
