The ruling on a woman leaving her home perfumed has been previously explained. As for a man smelling her fragrance, there are two scenarios: First: If he intentionally seeks it out and purposes to smell it, then it is not permissible due to the arousal of temptation therein. Second: If he does not intend it, such as when she passes by him and he smells her fragrance, then there is no blame on him, and he should distance himself from her.
