Is it permissible for the groom to recite specific verses from the Quran, such as the end of Surat Al-Baqarah, Yasin, Al-Mulk, and Al Imran, aloud and quickly on the wedding night, adding a supplication at the end, regardless of the groom's righteousness, and was this custom present among the Companions and those who followed them in goodness?

It was not from the guidance of the Companions to recite specific verses at a wedding, and this is an innovation (bid'ah). As for supplicating for the bride and groom, that is from the Sunnah (definition). However, the unveiling of women, dancing, intoxication, music, the gathering of transgressors, and intermingling are all reprehensible acts that are unimaginable in Islamic societies.
