The answer

To seek protection from the jinn, it is recommended to consistently engage in the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Quran at home, especially Al-Baqarah. It is mentioned in the that Satan flees from a house in which it is recited. Whoever recites it at night, Satan will not enter their house for three nights, and whoever recites it during the day, Satan will not enter it for three days. It is also recommended to recite Ayat Al-Kursy before sleeping, as it has been stated that it protects one from Satan until morning. Furthermore, the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, when recited in a dwelling, no devil will approach it for three nights. Patience and continued supplication and seeking protection are essential, as supplication is answered as long as its owner does not become impatient. As for the use of permissible things like coffee, it is not polytheism even if the jinn find it agreeable.
