Is elaborating on a supplication by mentioning specific names—such as "O Allah, make So-and-so point to my file with acceptance"—when applying for a job that requires the approval of several people, considered impermissible?

It is recommended in supplication to use comprehensive prayers, and it is disliked to be long-winded in it, as this is among the transgressions that are forbidden; due to Allah's saying: "Indeed, He likes not transgressors." Transgression may be through an abundance of words or meanings. An example of this is being long-winded in describing Paradise or Hell during supplication. However, supplicating for Allah to fulfill a need, facilitate a matter, and ordain what is good does not fall under the prohibited long-windedness.
