What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the conduct of a wife whose behavior towards her husband changed after her father's death, and she became disobedient to his commands, leaves the house without his permission, abuses him and his family, and denies his good deeds, despite the husband's attempts to rectify the situation and his commitment to his duties towards his family?

A disobedient wife (nashiz) who treats her husband poorly: the husband has the right to be patient with her, advise her, remind her of God's rights and her husband's rights, direct her to righteous sisters, and consistently perform ruqyah (Islamic exorcism/spiritual healing) for himself and for her. If she does not respond and it becomes clear that the reason for her disobedience is sin and following whims, then there is no blame in divorcing her. In fact, it might be better for him if it does not lead to a greater harm. He may also make it difficult for her (by refusing divorce) until she ransoms herself with money. It has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that "Three supplicate to God, but their prayers are not answered: a man who had a bad-tempered wife but did not divorce her."
