What should I do about products bearing the names of ancient Greek or Roman gods, which I see in stores, and which have caused distress and anger to me and my family?

Undoubtedly, selling products bearing the names of deities that were worshipped instead of Allah Almighty is among the reprehensible acts. If a Muslim is unable to change the reprehensible act with his hand or tongue, then the least he can do is to avoid going to the place of the reprehensible act. However, there is no harm in entering large complexes if some of the shops within them sell these products, because the sin falls upon the seller or the one who approves. Those who sell them should be advised gently, after confirming that these names are indeed names of deities worshipped instead of Allah.
