Is leaving someone listening at home to songs or TV shows that include religious terms considered apostasy (kufr), by analogy with the ruling on one who leaves a newspaper containing religious terms on the ground?

The content of the previous fatwas is the obligation to preserve Quranic verses and Prophetic hadiths, and the prohibition of throwing them away or leaving them in dirty or disrespectful places. Leaving a paper containing something from the Book of Allah the Almighty or the hadith (definition) of His Messenger, peace be upon him, in a dirty place while being able to remove it is considered disbelief (kufr); because the inaction of one who is capable of acting is considered an act.

As for mere religious words not mentioned in the referenced fatwas, leaving them is not considered disbelief, even though it is obligatory to respect them.

Comparing leaving songs and TV series that contain religious words in the house to leaving papers containing Quranic verses in dirty places is a corrupt analogy. Broadcasting songs and TV series are not on the same level, and no one has ever said that listening to or watching their forbidden content constitutes disbelief on the part of the one who does so.

There is no doubt that leaving forbidden content, whether in the house or elsewhere, is a reprehensible evil that must be removed, and it is not permissible for one who is able to remove it to leave it. However, it does not reach the level of disbelief. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart—and that is the weakest of faith."
