Praise be to Allah, the chosen one, for dividing the daylight hours into twelve parts, regardless of their length or shortness. From the start of the day until midday, there are six hours. It is permissible to perform the Friday prayer in the sixth hour, which is shorter in winter and longer in summer than the known hour (60 minutes). The prevailing opinion is that Friday prayer is not performed until after midday, but it is permissible for those with a valid excuse, such as incontinence, to pray before midday in a short time to catch the sermon, because Allah's law is based on ease and lifting hardship, especially if the matter is between missing the Friday prayer or being late for the sermon.
