Divorce pronounced during extreme anger, where a person does not comprehend what they are saying, is effective. Light and moderate anger make divorce effective, by scholarly consensus. If a husband repeats the divorce using one phrase or multiple phrases, it counts as a single divorce, and the husband can take back his wife during her waiting period (iddah) if this is the first or second divorce.
