Is it permissible for me to accept a gift from someone who deals in usury?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to deal with Jews through buying and selling, and accepted gifts from them, despite their involvement in usury. He died while his armor was mortgaged to a Jew. The rule in this regard is that what is forbidden due to its earning is only forbidden for the earner. As for whoever takes it through a permissible means, it is not forbidden for him, such as accepting a gift or engaging in buying and selling with someone who deals in usury, unless there is a benefit in boycotting him. However, what is forbidden in itself, such as stolen goods and alcohol, is forbidden for both the taker and others.
