Is it permissible to recite the supplication for entering the marketplace twice, once with the intention of reward for the reciter and once with the intention of reward for the deceased, or is it better to recite it once with the intention of including the deceased in the reward?

It was mentioned concerning the supplication for entering the marketplace that it is ghareeb (solitary), and Al-Albani graded it hasan (good) through other narrations. Therefore, the promised reward is hoped for whoever recites it. There is no evidence for the permissibility of repeating it to obtain the mentioned reward every time, but whoever repeats it will receive the reward for dhikr (remembrance of Allah). The most preponderant view is that every act of worship performed by a living person and whose reward is gifted to a deceased person will benefit the deceased, even though it is better for the living person to perform acts of worship for themselves and suffice with supplicating for their deceased. So, if you recite the dhikr upon entering the marketplace and gift its reward to your mother, it will benefit her. Or if you reserve its reward for yourself, then repeat it and gift its reward to her, it will benefit her. Or if you include her with you in the reward, it will benefit her.
