Is it permissible to listen to chanters who use musical instruments in their religious songs? Is it permissible to bring such bands to segregated wedding parties? Is it permissible for a wife to dance in front of her husband to religious songs if it arouses his desires?

Musical instruments are forbidden, and all songs or chants accompanied by them are forbidden, based on the statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There will be among my Ummah people who will legalize illicit sexual intercourse, silk, alcoholic drinks, and musical instruments." It is not permissible to listen to them nor to bring bands that use them at wedding parties. As for men dancing in front of men, and women in front of women, it is permissible as long as it is not accompanied by something forbidden like alcohol, gambling, or musical instruments. A wife dancing for her husband is permissible if it is not accompanied by forbidden songs.
