Is expressing an opinion—whether in praise or condemnation—about films and TV series on Facebook considered a sin, bearing in mind the presence of inappropriate scenes and the absence of women's images in the post? And is it considered a sin for a brother to watch such films on the same screen, knowing that the ruling on watching them has already been clarified to him?

Writing reports about artistic works is not permissible if they praise them and entice people to watch them, because that is aiding in sin. However, it is permissible if the purpose is to warn against them and clarify their deviance, and the doer will be rewarded for their good intention. This applies to films that contain evil or promote destructive ideas or display indecencies. But if the films are purposeful and free of evil, there is no harm in promoting them. Watching films that contain evil is not permissible, and one must repent from it and forbid others from watching them. A person does not bear the sin of their brother if the latter watches what is impermissible after having been forbidden from it.
