Is it obligatory to repeat the prayers that were performed during the period of inability to perform proper istinja' (washing after defecation/urination) and wudu' (ablution) due to a surgical operation?

Purity from impurities (khabath), ablution (wudu'), and covering the awrah are conditions for the validity of prayer. Whoever omits them despite being able to fulfill them, their prayer is invalid and must be repeated. However, if there is extreme hardship in removing impurities or performing ablution (due to severe illness or lack of assistance), it is permissible to pray with the impurity present, or to perform tayammum instead of ablution. Tayammum cannot be performed using a wall. If a person is unable to perform wudu' and tayammum, they may pray in their current state, and they are not required to repeat the prayer, according to the adopted fatwa.
