Is it permissible for someone afflicted with unremitting fecal incontinence, who performs tayammum for every prayer, to combine prayers with a single tayammum without changing his clothes or purifying himself from the feces? Is it permissible for him to perform a normal ablution (wudu) without washing the private parts (sabīlayn)? And is it permissible for him, upon leaving the house, to perform tayammum or wudu without washing the private parts and then pray with that wudu or tayammum?

For one who suffers from fecal incontinence, it is necessary to wash the affected area and tie it with a cloth to prevent the spread of impurity. Then, he should perform ablution (wudu) and pray.

It is obligatory for him to perform ablution for every prayer, according to the majority of scholars. However, it is permissible to adopt the view of the Maliki school, which does not require ablution for every prayer unless another impurity occurs.

He is not obligated to repeat ritual cleansing (istinja) for every prayer; rather, ablution suffices, according to Imam Ahmad and the Malikis, if washing and re-tying the cloth becomes difficult.

It is not permissible for him to resort to tayammum (dry ablution) as long as he finds someone to perform ablution for him.

He must make up for the prayers performed with tayammum when ablution was possible. This making up should be done according to his capacity, or he may adopt the view of Ibn Taymiyyah, which states that making up is not obligatory for someone ignorant of the ruling if it causes him severe hardship.

He must take precautions by tying a cloth around the organ to prevent the spread of impurity, unless he fears harm. In cases of extreme difficulty or inability, it is permissible to act upon the Maliki view regarding the abandonment of istinja from feces and the removal of impurity from clothes.

It is not permissible to combine prayers truly (jama' haqiqa) merely due to incontinence, according to the majority of scholars. However, it is permissible for a paralytic if separating each prayer at its time causes severe hardship.
