What should a patient suffering from urinary incontinence do if she is outside her home for long periods and cannot find a suitable place for ablution (wudu') in mosques? Is it permissible for her to perform tayammum (dry ablution) or pray with her old ablution in this situation? If not permissible, how does she make up for the missed prayers that she does not remember?

The Maliki school of thought holds that a person afflicted with urinary incontinence ( سلس ) does not have their ablution invalidated by the continuous discharge. Therefore, there is no harm for the questioner to pray more than one obligatory prayer with the same ablution, as long as her ablution has not been invalidated by something other than the incontinence. Her past prayers are valid and do not need to be redone. However, if she invalidated her ablution with something other than the incontinence and then abandoned performing ablution despite being able to, limiting herself to tayammum (definition) (dry ablution), then she must repeat those prayers. She should act based on her best judgment and make up what she believes, with strong probability, will clear her conscience.
