Is it permissible to visit discotheques and form relationships in order to obtain residency, or how can one marry Muslim women in Sweden for the purpose of maintaining one's honor and reputation within society?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to emigrate to a land of disbelief if he cannot observe the rituals of his religion, or fears falling into the forbidden, or is subjected to humiliation, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not befitting for a believer to humiliate himself." If staying in that country leads to such a situation, then he must leave it and move to a place where he feels secure in his religion. He must also distance himself from forbidden places and relationships. It is advisable to communicate with the Muslim community and the Islamic center to seek their assistance in studies, residence, and obedience to Allah, for a Muslim in a foreign land is weak and susceptible to the whisperings of devils.
