What is the ruling on being present in places that serve alcoholic drinks and spirits, such as hotels and restaurants, and what is the Hadith that refers to this custom?

"Sadd al-Dhara'i' (blocking the means to evil) is a great jurisprudential principle. Any action that leads to something forbidden, corruption, or suspicion, and does not have a predominant legitimate interest, is fundamentally prohibited. Attending places where evil deeds occur is forbidden, especially for those who cannot denounce the evil, out of fear that they might become accustomed to it or fall into it. It has been prohibited to sit at a table where wine is being consumed. It is obligatory to avoid gatherings of disbelief and mockery of Allah's verses, due to His saying, the Exalted: 'And He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being denied and ridiculed, do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, in that case, you would be like them.'"
