Visions and dreams do not form the basis for legal rulings. The path to guidance for repentance is to renew one's repentance whenever a sin or transgression occurs. Repentance is accepted if it fulfills its conditions. If you repent sincerely, Allah will forgive you. Allah Almighty says: "And indeed, I am Forgiving to whoever repents, believes, does righteousness, and then is guided." [Taha:82]. And in the Hadith Qudsi: "My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for them. I have forgiven My servant." This demonstrates Allah's mercy and forgiveness, not an encouragement to sin, but rather a deterrent from it. Allah deserves obedience and worship. Hasten to repent and trust that Allah Almighty will forgive you.
