Does a divorced woman forfeit her maintenance and become considered disobedient (nashiz) and thus not entitled to her deferred mahr (sadaq) if she steals the contents of the house and leaves it before the completion of her iddah (waiting period)?

If a woman is given a revocable divorce, she must remain in the marital home, and her husband is not permitted to expel her. He must also provide for her maintenance, unless she commits an act of immorality. If the wife leaves her husband's home before the expiration of her waiting period (iddah), she is disobedient and rebellious (nashiz), and her right to maintenance and lodging from the husband is forfeited until she returns. She must also return whatever she took from his property. As for her deferred dowry, if the rebellion (nushuz) originated from her and she insisted on separation, the husband has the right to demand that she return what he gave her as a dowry and that the remaining portion due from him be waived. However, if the man does not wish to do so, he should release her kindly.
