Does the maker of mirrors fall under the ruling regarding image-makers or not?

The maker of a mirror is not included in the threat mentioned for those who make images (Mussawirin), because the reflection of an image in a mirror is not considered photography (taswir). It has been reported that a mirror was among the furnishings of the Prophet's house, peace and blessings be upon him, and that he used it and did not forbid it.
