What is the ruling on a marriage in which both parties were asked about their consent without the verbal formula of "Ijaab" (offer) and "Qabool" (acceptance)? And is a divorce that occurs during menstruation, as well as a conditional divorce about whose wording the spouses are doubtful, legally valid? What are the proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the necessity of "Ijaab" and "Qabool" in the marriage contract? Is it safer to adopt the view of the majority of scholars, and is it permissible for the woman to follow her doubts regarding the wording of the conditional divorce?

There is no specific formula required for marriage; rather, it is concluded by whatever people consider a marriage, regardless of the language, wording, or action. And whoever divorces three times, the divorce takes effect. And whoever examines the nature of the contract after the divorce has transgressed the limits of Allah. The bid'i (innovated) divorce, according to the majority of scholars, takes effect despite being sinful, and this is the relied-upon opinion.
