Do the verses that speak of wealth and sons favor wealth over sons?

Children are dearer than wealth, and wealth is sacrificed for the sake of the human soul. Wealth is the last of the five necessities (religion, self, intellect, lineage, wealth). Wealth was mentioned before children in the Quran for reasons stated by exegetes, among them that wealth is an adornment and provision for everyone and at all times, whereas children's adornment and provision are for those who have reached parenthood. Also, because wealth is essential for the survival of the self, and children for the survival of the species. Moreover, because the need for it is more urgent, and because it existed earlier, and because it is an adornment even without children, unlike the case with children.
