Is it better for a wealthy believer to spend in the cause of Allah or to leave their property to their children, and will they be rewarded for leaving an inheritance to them?

Goodness and righteousness lie in obedience to Allah and His Messenger. This is exemplified by what the Sunnah narrated from Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him when he wanted to donate his wealth: "A third, and a third is much or great. Indeed, that you leave your heirs wealthy is better than that you leave them poor, begging from people." Therefore, it is better for the woman to leave her heirs what will enrich them and make them self-sufficient, and she will have a reward for that after her death.
