Can a person who has caused corruption on Earth repent to rectify the damage after the corruption, and change their malicious intentions into righteous ones?

The repentance of a disobedient person is possible and obligatory. He must have a good opinion of Allah, trusting that He will accept it, for He accepts repentance from His servants and forgives all sins. The disobedient person must hasten to repent, distance himself from environments that remind him of sins, frequently study the texts of the two revelations (Quran and Sunnah) that encourage righteous deeds and deter from sins, and associate with righteous people.
