Is the Repentance Prayer, which is performed nightly in the depths of the night to seek forgiveness, considered a Bid‘ah (innovation)? And is what I do, praying two rak‘ahs (units of prayer) in pairs, followed by one rak‘ah of Witr, considered Qiyam (night prayer)? And is reciting Surat Al-A‘la and Al-Kafirun in the two paired rak‘ahs, and Surat Al-Ikhlas in the Witr rak‘ah, correct? And is Witr prayer the same as Qiyam prayer, or is it separate from it? And are the paired rak‘ahs a Sunnah before Witr, or are they the two rak‘ahs after ‘Isha’?

The Prayer of Repentance (Salat al-Tawbah (definition)) is prescribed when its cause exists, which is falling into sin. Praying it every night without a cause is something for which we do not know of any legal evidence. The Shaf' and Witr prayers after Isha are considered part of the night vigil (Qiyam (definition) al-Layl). The regular Sunnah (definition) prayer of Isha is something other than the two rak'ahs of Shaf', and it is a confirmed Sunnah. There is no mention of specifying a particular surah (definition) to be recited in it. The Shaf' consists of two rak'ahs linked to the Witr and prayed before it. In these two rak'ahs, Surat al-A'la is recited in the first and Surat al-Kafirun in the second.
